The meetings of Arab radio and television coordinators in Algeria “achieved all their goals”

The Director of the Arab Center for News and Programs Exchange, Mohsen Slimani, confirmed today, Saturday in Algiers, that the periodic meetings of Arab radio and television coordinators, hosted by Algeria since last Wednesday, “achieved all their objectives.”

In a statement to APS on the side lines of the periodic meetings of Arab Radio and Television Coordinators, organized at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Mr. Slimani said that these meetings, in which 11 Arab countries participated, “achieved all their objectives and were an opportunity for the annual evaluation of exchange activities between radio and television coordinators.

These meetings, which resumed in person after being suspended last year due to Covid-19 pandemic, also allowed to present “the necessary solutions to the various concerns raised through practical recommendations to develop the various exchange activities in the Arab broadcasters,”, according to Mr. Slimani.

Today, Saturday, the last open working session was held by organizing a workshop on the new cloud platform of the Arab States Broadcasting Union, which “began to implement it a year and a half ago”, – as mentioned by Mr. Slimani, who announced that “work on this platform will start next July after a trial period.”
