The Minister of Health discusses with Turkish businessmen cooperation opportunities between the two countries

HealthMinister, Professor Abderrahmane Benbouzid, received, at the ministry’s headquarters, a delegation of Turkish businessmen to identify cooperation opportunities and strengthen partnership between Algeria and Turkey, according to a statement by the same ministry issued today, Wednesday.

After the two parties praised the level of brotherhood, friendship and cooperation relations that unite Algeria and Turkey in all sectors, especially health, they pointed out the existence of projects that would open new horizons for this cooperation and investment opportunities between the two countries – the same source adds.

The statement indicated that the Minister of Health listened, on the occasion, to the explanations provided by Turkish businessmen that could be implemented between the public sector and the Turkish and Algerian private sectors, whether through the setting up of new hospitals in line with the current standard of the various major hospitals in the world or by providing experiences from the Turkish side in the medical field.

In this context, Professor Benbouzid noted the level that medicine has reached in Turkey, whether it is related to treatment or the process of caring for patients, stressing the need to establish a real partnership by exploiting all available opportunities under the political administration of the two countries’ leaderships, expressing Algeria’s readiness to develop bilateral relations in accordance with the principle of mutual benefit.
