The Director General of the National Office for Hajj and Umrah, Ahmed Slimani, revealed today, Wednesday, that about 38,000 pilgrims were registered during the Umrah season (1444 AH / 2022 AD), while the final number of agencies authorized to organize the current season reached 459 tourism and travel agencies.
Mr. Soleimani explained that “since the start of the Umrah trips of the current season, the first of which was on the 1st of last October, about 38,000 pilgrims have been registered, while the lists of agencies authorized to organize this season have been set to reach 459 travel and tourism agencies out of 614 agencies nominated through Algerian portal for Umrah.
