The President of the Republic, the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired, on Sunday at the International Conference Centre (CIC) “Abdellatif Rahal” in Algiers, the honouring ceremony of the Algerian mission dispatched to Turkey and Syria in order to participate in the rescue operations of the victims following the earthquake which hit the region on February 6.
In addition to the pilots of the People’s National Army (ANP) belonging to the Algerian Air Force, the Algerian mission includes teams from the Civil Protection and the Algerian Red Crescent (CRA), who have shown unfailing courage, remarkable professionalism and a great sense of humanitarianism during their various operations on the ground.
