The President of the Republic holds private talks with his Tunisian counterpart

The President of the Republic AbdelmadjidTebboune held today, Wednesday, at the Carthage Palace in Tunis,  private talks with his Tunisian counterpart, Kais Saied, as part of his two-day state visit to Tunisia.

Upon his arrival at Tunis-Carthage International Airportin Tunis, the President of the Republic was warmly received by President Kais Saied and senior officials in the Tunisian state, as well as representatives of the Arab diplomatic corps accredited in Tunisia.

This visit falls within the framework of strengthening the deep-rooted brotherly relations between the two brotherly peoples and expanding the fields of cooperation and raising them to a qualitative level that reflects the complete harmony and the common will of the leaders and peoples of the two countries.

The visit of the President of the Republic to Tunisia also comes a few days after the visit of the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane, to this country.

That visit was marked by the holding of joint working sessions between the ministers of the two countries in the fields of finance, trade and export promotion, energy and mines, industry as well as public works, not to mention the talks that brought together Mr. Benabderrahmanewith his counterpart the head of the Tunisian government, Mrs. NajlaBouden, and the session expanded to the two countries’delegations.

The visit of the Prime Minister to Tunisia was preceded by Mrs. Bouden’svisit to Algeria at the end of last November, thus reflecting the new dynamic in the relations of cooperation between the two countries.
