The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message of condolence to his Turkish counterpart, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, following the devastating earthquake that struck vast areas of southeastern Turkey, in which he expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims in their painful affliction.
In the letter of condolence, wrote the President of Republic « With profound sadness and shock, we have learned of the devastating earthquake that struck extensive areas in southeast Turkey, leaving thousands of victims dead, injured, and trapped under the rubble, and causing significant material losses ».
« In the face of this human tragedy, that has affected the Turkish people, I, on behalf of the Algerian people, government and myself, sincerely extend our condolences to the Turkish people, government and its President. I offer my sincere condolences to the families of the victims in their pain. May Allah, the Almighty, help you overcome this hardship with patience and stability, bless the souls of all the victims with His mercy, hasten the healing of the injured and those affected, and protect your dear country from all harm » added the President of the Republic.
« At this moment, I would like to affirm that Algeria stands beside the Turkish people in this difficult time, expressing our full readiness to contribute to any effort aimed at alleviating the impact of this painful event » said the President of the Republic.
