The Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aïmene Benabderrahmaneannounced Monday in Algiers that Algeria’s trade balance registered a surplus of $1.04 billion at the end of last November.
During a tour to the various pavilions of the Algerian production fair, Mr. Benabderrahmanesaid, “We managed on November 30th, thanks to controlling the national market, to achieve numbers that were previously a dream.”
In this context, he indicated that, the trade balance achieved a surplus of $1.04 billion, which primarily reflects the rise in non-hydrocarbon exports to $4.5 billion, in parallel with the measures taken to control and rationalize imports.
