A special bulletin from the National Meteorological Office reported today, Thursday, that rains and sometimes thunder, accompanied by hail and winds, are expected starting from noon tomorrow, Friday, in the provinces of the center and east of the country.
The same statement clarified that this bulletin, categorized at the “orange” level of vigilance, concerns the provinces of Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, Jijel and Skikda, adding that the period of validity of this notice extends from Friday at three PM (15.00) until Saturday at three AM, with amounts of precipitation ranging between 20 and 40 mm.
The same source added that the wilayats of El Tarf, Souk Ahras and Guelma are also concerned with this rain, and that from Friday at six PM (18.00) until Saturday, at six PM (18.00), with recording rain amounts ranging between 30 and 40 mm, and it could reach or exceed 50 mm locally.
