
Several provinces in the central and eastern parts of the country will be affected by rain, sometimes under the form of thunderstorms and accompanied by hail, as from midday on Tuesday, according to a special bulletin issued today by the National Office of Meteorology.
The bulletin, which was put at the “orange” degree of vigilance and which lasts from four o’clock in the afternoon today, Tuesday until six o’clock in the morning, tomorrow, Wednesday, concerns the provinces of: Tiaret, the north of Djelfa, Tissemsilt, Medea and Blida, where the expected amounts of rain will range between 20 and 40 mm or more.
The bulletin indicated that the provinces of M’sila, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Setif, Mila, Constantine, Skikda, Jijel, Bejaia, Tizi Ouzou and Boumerdes will also be affected by heavy rains accompanied by strong winds starting from nine o’clock in the evening Tuesday until nine o’clock in the morning tomorrow, Wednesday.
The expected amounts of rain in the aforementioned provinces will range between 20 and 40 mm.
