Tizi-Ouzou fires: Two military cargos transports aid sent from Tamanrasset for victims in Tizi-Ouzou

Two military aircrafts of the Algerian Air Force have transported a large quantity of aid (53 tons), offered by people of Tamanrasset to the victims of fires in the province of Tizi-Ouzou, said Tuesday a statement of the Ministry of National Defense.

“As part of humanitarian missions and the consolidation of the Army-Nation link and the momentum of solidarity with the victims of the areas affected by the fires in the province of Tizi-Ouzou, a considerable amount of aid, estimated at 53 tons, was transported aboard two (02) military aircraft from the Air Force, “said the same source, adding that “these aids consisting of foodstuffs of essential staples, mattresses and medical supplies, offered by the Algerian Red Crescent (CRA) and the Socio-cultural Association for the revival of the civil society of Tamanrasset, were transported from the Air Base of Tamanrasset / 6th Military Region in the direction of the Air Base of Boufarik / 1st MR”.

“These aids materialize the momentum of solidarity that reflects the true will of cohesion between the children of the same country and the determination of the command of the People’s National Army to make available all human and material resources to secure an unwavering support to this kind of humanitarian initiative that consolidate the cohesion between Algerians,” adds the statement.
