Tourism: New tourist circuit established across Ouargla province.

A tourist circuit of several destinations has been selected by the Directorate of Tourism, Handicrafts and Family Work of Ouargla province, according to the services of this body.

The circuit is made of fifteen (15) sites and tourist destinations, including the Saharan Museum, Souk El-Hadjar, the old castle of Ouargla, a palm grove, the private tourist complex “Ijdagh Tour” and the old castle of N’goussa.

It includes the wetlands of Hassi Benabdallah and that of Oum Raneb, the sand dunes and the deposit of sand rose in Ghars Boughoufala, the sand dunes of Sidi Khouiled, the zawiya of Sheikh Sidi Belkheir Echatti in Ain El-Beida and the zawiya of the Tarika (brotherhood) El-Kadiria in Rouissat.

Tourists wishing to visit Ouargla are also invited to discover the region of Gara Krima, the communes of Sidi Khouiled and Hassi Benabdallah and Oued N’ssa, as they are tourist destinations identified to make a safari in this Saharan wilaya, added the same source.

This tourist circuit is part of the program of the Ministry of Tourism, aimed at promoting the tourism product and strengthening the national and local destination through the development of tourism assets.

It will contribute to the promotion of rich tourist destinations in this southeastern province of the country, characterized in particular by the circuit tourism (short trips to the peripheral areas of the Sahara and pre-Saharan), in addition to eco-tourism and cultural and religious tourism, added the services of the Directorate of Tourism, Handicrafts and Family Work of Ouargla province.
