Eight people were killed and 227 others were injured as a result of several traffic accidents that were recorded in various parts of the country during the past 24 hours, according to what was announced today, Sunday, in a statement issued by the Civil Protection.
The statement added that during the same period, two drowning deaths were recorded in the provinces of Algiers and Tebessa.
The protection units also put out a fire that broke out at the level of 4 chalets inside a building workshop in the industrial area of Boumerdes Province.
