Two people have died and 149 others have been injured in traffic accidents that occurred in separate parts of the country during the last 24 hours, according to a report issued today, Sunday, by the civil protection services.
The same source indicated that fatal traffic accidents were recorded in the wilaya of Ain Defla, where a collision between 03 cars on National Road No. 18 in the municipality of Djendel during which 2 people were killed and 2 others were injured. Whereas the second accident occured in the municipality of Al-Keddid (west of Djelfa) leaving 2 people dead and 4 others injured.
During the same period, the Civil Protection Units made interventions to provide first aid to six (6) people who suffocated from monocarbone gas leaking from various heating devices in each of the provinces of Tiaret (4) people and Medea (2) people.
