Traffic accidents: Two people died and 8 others injured during first half of July in the capital

Two (2) people were killed and eight others were injured, as a result of eight traffic accidents recorded in the urban region of Algiers, between the beginning and the middle of this month, according to what was announced today, Sunday, in a press release of the state security.

The security operations of the security services of the province of Algiers led to the withdrawal of (2081) driving licenses and the placement of (128) vehicles in pounds as a result of random parking.

The same source added that this outcome falls within the framework of “fighting traffic phenomena that deviate from the rules of safe driving and in the context of its efforts to reduce traffic accidents in urban region of the capital, especially during summer season where traffic is abundant.”

In this context, the security services of the province of Algiers called on citizens to “contribute more to the security process as they are the basis of safety,” stressing that they put at their disposal the green numbers of the General Directorate of National Security, 1548 and the emergency line 17, in addition to line 104 and the “Allo Police” application, as well as a Facebook page for the security of the province of Algiers to report everything that would prejudice their safety and the safety of their property.
