Training-Energy: Signing of agreement between Algerian Petroleum Institute and Senegalese counterpart

A cooperation agreement in the field of training was signed between the Algerian Petroleum Institute and the National Institute of Oil and Gas in Senegal, at the headquarters of the Algerian Petroleum Institute in the province of Boumerdes (Algeria), with the aim of establishing a partnership between the two parties in the field of training, said Monday a statement issued by Sonatrach group.

The group’s statement indicated that “last Tuesday, a cooperation agreement in the field of training was signed between the Algerian Petroleum Institute and the National Institute of Oil and Gas in Senegal, at the headquarters of the Algerian Institute in Boumerdes, in the presence of Senegalese ambassador to Algeria, Mr. Cyrine Diay.”

This agreement was the fruit of discussions between the Algerian Petroleum Institute and its Senegalese counterpart, following a visit paid by the Senegalese ambassador on Tuesday, May 27th  to the Algerian Petroleum Institute in the province of Boumerdes, followed by discussions with the National Institute of Oil and Gas of Senegal, with the aim of establishing a partnership in the field of training and contributing to the development process of the National Institute of Oil and Gas in Senegal.

The statement said that the agreement provides for cooperation in the implementation and development of training curricula, as well as the exchange on issues of common interest.

The statement indicated that, based on “the two parties’ conviction of the success of this partnership based on honesty and mutual interests, they agreed to materialize the agreed upon actions as soon as possible.”
