Triki: Importance of raising the rate of citizens’ subscriptions to fixed-line network

The Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Karim Bibi Triki, called today, Monday from the province of Laghouat, on sector officials across the country’s provinces to seek to raise the rate of citizens’ subscriptions to the fixed-line network, in order to raise the company’s profitability.

The minister stressed, during his working visit to Laghouat, that the province has invested a lot of money in creating and connecting networks to the farthest points that were previously considered impossible, and the time has come to ensure economic profitability for these investments by raising the rate and number of phone subscriptions for citizens.

Bibi Triki also insisted on the need for the officials of his sector to look after the employees of all levels working in the post and telecommunications sector, stressing that listening to the employee’s concerns and seeking to resolve them instills confidence and hope and will have a positive impact on the profitability of their work and the profitability and image of the company as a whole.

During this two-day field visit, Bibi Triki inaugurated a Class IV postal center in the “Al Hajeb” residential area of the municipality of Tadjmout (40 km northwest of Laghouat, a project that is expected to accommodate 400 customers per day due to its presence near National Road No. 23 linking Laghouat to Aflou, according to the explanation provided.

The minister will continue his visit to the province of Laghouat tomorrow, Tuesday, with the inauguration and inspection of several projects across the municipalities of Aflou, Sidi Bouzid as well as the provincial capital.
