
Tunisian Prime Minister Najla Bouden praised today, Monday, Algeria’s support for her country in the “delicate circumstance” it is going through.
In a statement to the press following her reception by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Ms. Bouden said: “I had the honor of meeting the President, who conveyed to him the greetings of President Kaïs Saïed and his renewed congratulations on Algeria’s success in holding the Arab summit in early November and his wishes for more brilliance for Algeria’s people and leadership.” , expressing “great thanks to Algeria for what it offers to Tunisia in this delicate circumstance in the country’s history.”
The Tunisian Prime Minister affirmed that her presence in Algeria comes within the framework of “exchanging views and following up on the projects established within the framework of the Algerian-Tunisian Grand Joint Committee and preparing for the work of the next committee in Algeria,” while discussing the establishment of a “comprehensive strategic partnership” between the two countries.
For reference, the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, was attended on the Algerian side by the Prime Minister, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ramtane Lamamra, the Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Abdelaziz Khellaf, and on the Tunisian side, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad, Mr. Othman Jerandi.
