Two people were killed and three others were injured in a traffic accident on National Road No. 01 in its section linking Tamanrasset and Ain Ghezzam, according to tCivil Protection services in Tamanrasset.
According to the same source, the accident occurred yesterday, Sunday, on National Road No. 01, located 50 km from Tamanrasset, in the direction of Ain Guezzam. It is a collision between a tourist car and a utility vehicle that was driving in the opposite direction.
The bodies of the two victims were taken to Tamanrasset Hospital, where the three wounded were also taken to receive the necessary first aid, while the National Gendarmerie opened an investigation to find out the causes of the accident.
