The University Hospital Center “Dr. Ben Zargab” and the University Hospital Institution “November 1, 1954” of Oran were selected to provide healthcare to the athletes and delegations participating in the African Football Cup competitions for local athletes (CHAN 2022), to be partially hosted by the capital of the west according to a statement issued today, Wednesday, by the two health facilities.
A green corridor has been opened at the two health institutions to take care of all the health needs of the athletes and delegations participating in this event, which is organized in Algeria from January 13 to February 4, 2023, according to the same source.
The University Hospital Center “Dr. Ben Zargab”, a section was equipped with 18 beds, three operating rooms, a medical analysis laboratory and another one for x-rays, in addition to mobilizing medical staff from various specialties, especially general surgery, orthopedics and neurosurgery, in addition to paramedical assistants.
As for the university hospital institution “November 1, 1954”, it has mobilized the necessary material and human capabilities in anticipation of this event, including 9 beds and an operating room, in addition to a specialized medical and paramedical staff.
It is worth noting that the stadium of the “Miloud Hedfi” sports complex in Oran will host the matches of the fourth and fifth groups during the first round, and it will also host a match for the quarter-finals and another for the semi-finals, in addition to the ranking match for the third place.
