World Cup 2022 / Belmadi: Malabo’s training allowed the Greens to prepare well

The coach of the Algerian national football team, Djamel Belmadi, considered, yesterday, Thursday in Douala, that the training undertaken by the “greens” in Malabo (Equatorial Guinea) allowed them to “prepare well” for the playoff match against Cameroon, due to take place on Friday (18:00 Algeria time) at the Japoma stadium in Douala for the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers.

“It was a good training, during which we were able to implement our program and prepare properly for the first leg match,” Belmadi said.

He added, “The atmosphere was great and the players were well focused and determined to achieve something big here in Douala before the return leg in Blida.”

Yesterday, Thursday, the delegation of the national team landed in Douala in preparation for its match against Cameroon today, Friday at (18:00 Algeria time) at Japoma stadium, as part of the first leg of the playoff match qualifying for the World Cup-2022 in Qatar.
