World Cup 2022: The national team beats Djibouti by 08 goals to nil

The Algerian national football team made a successful start in the qualifiers phase for the World Cup 2022, thanks to its outstanding victory over Djibouti national team 8-0, yesterday, Thursday, at “Mustapha Tchaker” stadium, in Blida province, for the first round (Group I) of Qatar World Cup qualifiers.

Thus, Algeria started the qualifiers phase by dominating Group A with a goal difference of +8 and a score of 3 points, followed by Burkina Faso, which defeated Niger (2-0), while Niger and Djibouti occupy the last position with a score of 0 points.

After this match, the squad of national coach Djamel Belmadi continues to beat records by reaching the 28th match unbeaten in a row, a new African record.

This achievement was made thanks to the fiery attack of the “Greens” squad, led by veteran Islam Slimani after scoring four goals, positioning himself as the undisputed star of the match by reaching the 35th personal goal with the national team.

The French Olympique Lyon striker opened the scoring for the national team early with a header, then scored the second (24 mnt with a penalty kick), to add two goas in the second half (46 mnt, 53 mnt), after two crucial passes. From his colleagues Bounedjah and Belaili, respectively.
