The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ramtane Lamamra, received today, Sunday, at the Ministry’s headquarters, his counterpart from the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, as part of the traditional consultation and coordination between the two sister countries, according to a ministry statement.
The statement indicated that the discussions, which took place in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Ammar Balani, focused on “the developments of the Saharawi issue at the diplomatic level in the context of the efforts of the United Nations and the African Union, with a view to enabling the Sahrawi people to exercise its right to self-determination and independence.
