A tremor of 3.1 degrees on Richter scale was recorded today, Saturday, at 12 :45 in Batna province, the Centre for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG) said in a statement.
The same statement indicated that the epicentre of the quake was located at 7 kms north-east of Kikba in Batna province.
