Participants in the Fourth Conference of the Union of Saguia El Hamra and Oued Eddahab Students organized a stand in solidarity with the “student class” detainees and all Sahrawi political detainees.
The Saharawi Press Agency stated that the participants raised national flags and pictures of the detainees, during the sit-in organized yesterday, Saturday, on the sidelines of the conference, in which they called on the international community to pressure the Moroccan occupation authorities to save the lives of the Sahrawi detainees and release them unconditionally.
The participants also called on the international community to pay attention to the situation of the Sahrawi political detainees who are fighting death in the occupation prisons, demanding their immediate and unconditional release.
The fourth conference of the Union of Students of Saguia el-Hamra and Oued Eddahab, whose work continues today, will be held for the third and final day, in the presence of members of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, the government and the Sahrawi National Council, with the participation of more than 400 delegates from the student organization’s branches and a delegation from the occupied territories, and more than 150 participants representing International student organizations having working relations and cooperation with the Saharawi Organization.
