The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed, Monday in Algiers, that he is “fully aware” of the aspirations of the Algerian people for “true justice” and for “prosperity and development in a new and fearsome Algeria.”
In a speech he delivered during the opening of the proceedings of an international forum organized at the Palais des Nations, here in Algiers, to celebrate the first anniversary of the founding of the Constitutional Court, read on his behalf by the Adviser to the President of the Republic in charge of legal and judicial affairs, Mr. Boualem Boualem, the President of the Republic said “ three years ago, on December 19, 2019, I was honored in this building, with the highest honors, which is my swearing in as President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, which is a responsibility that I assume as much as I can with the utmost loyalty to the trust of our brave people.
He added, “I am fully aware of the people’s aspirations for true justice and for prosperity and development in a new and fearsome Algeria, which occupies the position it deserves at the regional and international levels, a position that suits its human and material capabilities and sacrifices of its great people during the victorious liberation revolution and through the various phases of its glorious history.”
