Algeria Minister of Energy and Mines receives, Mohamed Arkab, received this morning Wednesday 14 April 2021, the President of the National Federation of Oil, Gas and Chemical Workers, Mr. Hamou TOUAHRIA, with the presence of the Head of the Ministry’s Cabinet and members of the Federation.
The Minister affirmed the Ministry’s engagement to ensure the stability of the sector and to consecrate the existing and permanent contact between the various institutions of the energy and mines sector.
He also discussed the most important files related to the sector and ways to support and pay attention to the human factor in its affiliated institutions, as it is a key factor in maintaining the pace of production and improving service to citizens.

The National Federation of Oil, Gas and Chemical Workers is one of the country’s 32 workers federations and the most important of them as it gathers more than 170 thousand workers who fall under the banner of the General Union of Algerian Workers and are distributed across all the states of the country, where it plays an important role in coordination between the unions of the institutions of the energy and industry sectors.
