Algeria, Djibouti seal MoU on energy and mining 

A memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the energy and mining sector will be signed Monday between Algeria and Djibouti, said Sunday the ministry in a statement.

The Minister of Energy in charge of Natural Resources of the Republic of Djibouti, Yonis Ali Guedi, will be on a working visit to Algeria from March 12th to 15th, 2023, at the invitation of the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, according to the Ministry of Energy and Mines.

During his four-day visit, the Djiboutian Minister will hold talks with Mr. Arkab and officials from Sonatrach and Sonelgaz, the statement added.

A memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the energy and mining sector will be signed between the two parties on Monday, the ministry said.

Mr. Guedi will also visit the Algiers Refinery, the Algerian Institute of Petroleum (IAP), the Research and Development Center (CRD), and the Cap Djinet power plant in the Boumerdes province.
