Algeria “strongly” condemned on Wednesday the violation of national sovereignty by diplomatic, consular, and security personnel under the French State, which participated in a clandestine and illegal exfiltration operation of an Algerian national, whose physical presence on the national territory is prescribed by the Algerian justice, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad in a statement.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad today expressed to the French Embassy Algeria’s firm condemnation of the violation of national sovereignty by French diplomatic, consular and security personnel who took part in a clandestine and illegal operation to exfiltrate an Algerian national whose physical presence on national territory is prescribed by Algerian justice,” the statement said.
In this official note, Algeria rejects this “inadmissible and unspeakable” development which causes “great damage” to Algerian-French relations, the same source adds.
