Algeria, Uganda ink two agreements, five MoUs

President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune co-chaired with his Ugandan counterpart, Yoweri Museveni, Sunday, in Algiers, the signing ceremony of two agreements and five memorandum of understanding (MoUs) in several areas of bilateral cooperation.

The signing ceremony took place at the seat of the presidency of the Republic.

The agreements and the memoranda of understanding are related to energy, tourism, agriculture, animal health, higher education and scientific research.

Earlier, President Tebboune held one-on-one discussions with his Ugandan counterpart, which were subsequently extended to the delegations of the two countries.

President Museveni arrived Saturday in Algiers as part of a State visit that will last until Tuesday, at the invitation of the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
