The minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, is to attend the 41st conference on energy (CERA Week 2023 by S&P Global), to take place on March 6-10, 2023 in Houston, the United States, the ministry of Trade said Sunday in a statement.
Arkab will be accompanied by a large delegation of executives from the ministry, Sonatrach, Sonelgaz and the National Agency for the Development of Hydrocarbon Resources (Alnaft), the same source added.
During this visit, Arkab will have a series of meetings with his counterparts and leaders of major international energy companies and will participate in several panels that will focus on energy, energy in Africa and the energy transition, the statement said.
CERA Week (Cambridge Energy Research Associates) is one of the most important events that brings together energy industry leaders, experts, government officials and policy makers, as well as leaders from the technology, finance and industry sectors each year, the ministry said.
The participants will address, during this conference, the main energy themes and challenges of the next decades and will provide relevant and innovative solutions to ensure a sustainable energy supply flow, the same source said.
