The Minister of Housing, Urbanism and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, issued instructions today, Wednesday, to speed up the pace of completion of the Douira and Baraki stadium projects, according to the ministry.
This came during a working visit of inspection paid by Mr. Belaribi to the two projects, as explained by the ministry on its official Facebook page.
During his visit to the Douira stadium project, the Minister was briefed on the progress of the works carried out by the Chinese Group, especially the metal structure works. and proceed with the remaining work and insisted on accelerating the pace of completion and installation of the estimated 26 steel structures “as soon as possible”, which would allow the start of the works to cover the stadium and the start of the remaining works.
According to the ministry, the current rate of assembling metal structures above the fixed floor is about 35 percent.
During the visit, Mr. Belaribi revealed a meeting that he will have with the company in charge of achievement and the Studies Office during the next week, to solve all administrative and technical problems, insisting on ” seriousness and significant progress and that there will be no arguments in the future.”
During his visit to Baraki Stadium, the Minister inspected the progress of the works, both the external preparation and the pitch works.
The minister here ordered the lifting of all reservations and the programming of a meeting with the realization company and the Studies Office with the aim of accelerating the pace of works to receive the project as soon as possible, according to the same source.
