“Berlin 2” welcomes support of neighboring countries for inclusive reconciliation in Libya

The final communique of “Berlin 2” conference welcomed, today, Wednesday, the support of regional organizations and neighboring countries for the inclusive reconciliation process in Libya, led by the African Union, calling for the implementation of international resolutions to punish anyone who violates arms embargo in Libya, according to the Libyan News Agency (Iana )

The final communique of “Berlin 2” conference stressed for “the need to hold accountable violators of international law and support the work of Libyan institutions to document violations and called for the implementation of international resolutions by punishing anyone who violates arms embargo in Libya.”

“Berlin 2″ – adds the same source – stressed on ” refraining from interfering in the Libyan conflict and internal affairs, calling on all international parties to abide by it,” it also called on all international parties not to interfere in Libyan internal affairs.

The final communique of “Berlin 2” conference called on the Libyan authorities to make the necessary preparations to hold free and fair national presidential and parliamentary elections. It also called on the House of Representatives and the State to “reach consensus on sovereign positions in accordance with the road map approved by the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum.”
