General Said Chanegriha pays a working and inspection visit to the Mechanical Industry Promotion Group in Ain Smara

Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, General Said Chanegriha, paid yesterday Thursday, as part of the second day of his visit to the 5th Military Region, a working and inspection visit to the mechanical industry promotion group in Ain Smara / Constantine and some military industries establishments in the 5th Military Region.

Accompanied by the Commander of the Fifth Military Region, Major General Noureddine Hambli, and the Director of Military Industries, Major General Salim Farid, the Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army met with the executives and employees of the Mechanical Industry Promotion Group, where he delivered an orientation speech, followed via videoconference, by the members of the industrial establishments present in the Fifth Military Region.

During the orientation meeting, Mr. Chanegriha affirmed that the Supreme Command always seeks to upgrade the military industries in various fields and specializations, and is keen to achieve the ability to self-sustain the development and manufacturing equipment of the People’s National Army.

He stressed that these efforts, made under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, to achieve the ability to self-sustain the development and manufacturing equipment of the People’s National Army, allow to increase its operational capabilities and improve its field returns, and thus reduce its dependence through self-reliance in this sensitive field.

The Lieutenant General added that thanks to sincere efforts, all these achievements were made at the level of all components of the military industry, and the National People’s Army gathered the features and indicators of a successful and strong army, which is proud of the great tasks entrusted to it.

During his visit, the Army General also inspected the various workshops of the Mechanical Industry Promotion Group and a number of industrial establishments in the 5th Military Region
