General Said Chanegriha, supervised the kick off of 2022 Airborne Platoon international military contest

The Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, Lieutenant-General Said Chanegriha, supervised today, Monday, at the regional military sports complex in the 1st military region (Blida), the official kick off of the 2022 airborne platoon international military contest whose activities will last until August 27.

The opening ceremony took place in the presence of the Prime Minister, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane and a number of government members, high-ranking officers of the People’s National Army and members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Algeria.

In an opening speech delivered on the occasion, The Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army extended his greetings to the participating delegations, welcoming all the participants, including athletes, officials and coaches.

This sports event, hosted by Algeria for the first time, will be attended by 15 countries, namely Algeria, Belarus, Burkina Faso, the Republic of China, Congo, India, Kyrgyzstan, Mali, Nicaragua, the Federation of Russia, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Bolivarian Venezuela and Vietnam.
