President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received today, Thursday, at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, within the framework of his consultations with representatives of civil society, representatives of six national associations, who appreciated his support to association movement and the strengthening of its role in building a new Algeria.
In a statement to the press after the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief of the Algerian Islamic Scouts, Abderrahamne Hamzaoui, stated that his meeting with the President of the Republic would “contribute to defining the features of the association movement and its role in the morality of public life and its contribution to the national current affairs,” highlighting that during the meeting, “the internal front and the expected role of civil society were reinforced”.
He pointed out that the President of the Republic “affirmed the strengthening of the role of civil society and its representation in various bodies, especially those newly developed such as the National Civil Society Observatory and the Higher Council for Youth. He also committed to taking care of all the concerns of the association movement.”
It’s worth noting that these meetings took place in the presence of Nazih Ben Ramadan, the advisor to the president of the republic in charge of the association movement and the national community abroad.
