Insurance: SAA increases its share capital to 35 billion Dinars

The National Insurance Company (SAA) has increased its share capital to 35 billion Dinars (DA), against 30 billion DA previously, said Sunday a statement from this public company.

“The general assembly of SAA, meeting on February 5, 2023, in extraordinary session, decided to proceed to the increase of the social capital of the company by incorporation of optional reserves for an amount of five (5) billion DA, to bring it from thirty (30) billion DA to thirty-five (35) billion DA”, adds the statement.

“This important decision crowns several decades of success for the company, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, and will allow it to reaffirm its position as a market leader and improve its ability to further develop its business,” the statement said.

“With an equity capital of 42 billion Dinars and a distribution network consisting of 757 sales outlets, including the banking and insurance outlets, covering the entire territory of our vast country, SAA reiterates its commitment to provide the best possible responses to the expectations of its millions of customers,” she said.
