The Italian Prime Minister, Mr. Mario Draghi, headed this Monday afternoon to the Shrine of the Martyr (Algiers), where he stood in homage in front of the memorial commemorating the martyrs of the glorious liberation revolution.
The Italian Prime Minister laid a wreath in front of the memorial and observed a minute of silence for the martyrs of the liberation revolution.
It is worth noting that Mr. Draghi had embarked, earlier today, on a visit to Algeria at the invitation of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
This visit falls within the framework of “strengthening relations of cooperation between the two countries,” according to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic.
