Lamamra holds working sessions with a number of representatives of countries at Paris Conference on Libya

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, held yesterday, Friday, working sessions and meetings with a number of state representatives on the sidelines of the Paris Conference on Libya, to consolidate the joint commitment to support and assist the Libyans in restoring stability and reviving development in the country.

Lamamra wrote on his official account on Twitter: “Working sessions and meetings were held with a number of fellow representatives of brotherly and friendly countries on the sidelines of the Paris Conference on Libya, to consolidate our joint commitment to support and assist the Libyan brothers in restoring stability, reviving development and recovering Libya’s natural position on the continental and international levels.” .

Yesterday, Friday, Minister Lamamra participated in the Paris Conference on Libya, representing the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and delivered a speech on his behalf in which he renewed Algeria’s call for all external parties to respect Libya’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of decision.

Lamamra “strongly condemned the continued foreign interference in all its forms in the internal affairs of this sister country and the involvement of a number of external parties in violating the arms embargo despite their commitment towards the outcomes of the Berlin conferences and relevant Security Council resolutions.”
