Minister of Energy and Mines, Mr. Mohamed Arkab, will participate, tomorrow, Wednesday, in the procedings of the 31st ministerial meeting of OPEC and non-OPEC countries (OPEC +), which will be held via videoconference, according to a ministry statement issued today.
This meeting, which will bring together 23 countries (13 OPEC countries and 10 non-OPEC members) signatories of the cooperation declaration, will be preceded, on the same day, by the proceedings of the 43rd meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (GMMC), the same source adds.
The two meetings will be devoted, according to the statement, to “examining the conditions of the global oil market and its provisions in the short term.”
The 43rd meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee, on the basis of the report prepared the previous day by the Joint Technical Monitoring Committee (GTC), will also address the assessment of the level of compliance with the obligations related to the production level of the countries of the Cooperation Declaration for the month of June 2022, according to the ministry.
