The principal company selling petroleum-based fuels for domestic consumption in Algeria (Naftal) announced, on Wednesday in a press release, the generalization of electronic payment terminals (POS) on all its points of sale, and this, from tomorrow Thursday.
Customers can pay for Naftal services through their CIB bank cards and Edahabia, thanks to the terminals provided by its partner, the External Bank of Algeria (BEA), in accordance with the agreement signed between the two parties, according to the same source.
This step is part of “the implementation of the government’s strategy to generalise the use of the electronic payment solution and to promote digitisation in management methods”.
