Oil prices fluctuate amid rising health concerns

Crude oil prices fluctuated in early trading on Tuesday, as health concerns caused by Coronavirus strains escalated and the rising of new infections globally.

Global benchmark Brent future prices for October delivery dipped by 0.11 percent reaching 72.81 USD/Barrel.

U.S. WTI crude futures for September delivery also fell 0.06 percent, or 4 cents, to 71.22 USD/Barrel.

Brent crude prices in morning trading today ranged from a 0.10 percent increase to a 0.13 percent decline.

Global oil markets are awaiting preliminary data late today for U.S. crude stocks from last week.
