The ministerial meeting of the countries of the “OPEC +” group includes 23 countries (13 countries in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and 10 non-members of the organization) that signed the cooperation declaration.

The meeting aims to study the conditions of the global oil market, discuss its short-term prospects, and take appropriate decisions based on that.

It is worth noting that Algeria participated, on May 1 and 2, through videoconference, in the work of the 181st ministerial meeting of the Organization of “OPEC” and in the work of the 31st meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (GMMC).
