President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, made a phone call, today, with his brother, the President of the sisterly Republic of Tunisia, Mr. Kaïs Saïed, which focused on the epidemiological situation and the latest developments in the health situation in Tunisia, according to a press release issued by the Presidency of the Republic.
On this occasion, the President expressed the solidarity of Algeria, people, government and president, with the brotherly Tunisian people in facing the Covid-19 pandemic, stressing that Algeria will send, tomorrow, Tuesday, July 13, 2021, an aid, represented in 250 thousand doses of the vaccine, in addition to necessary medical equipment, to confront this epidemic, reiterating Algeria’s constant readiness to stand by sister Tunisia, whenever necessary.
