President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune ordered, during the meeting of the Council of Ministers he chaired on Sunday, the revision of the statutes of all professional categories of the health sector, while working to promote and modernize the management of hospitals and health services, said the Council of Ministers in a statement.
In the same context, the President of the Republic affirmed that “the main problem in the health sector is not related to structues, but rather to management,” and that the reform “should continue throughout the year and not during a specific period,” noting that “the general situation that the country experienced reflected negatively on the health sector.
