President of the Republic paid a visit to the mausoleum of the founder of the Turkish Republic

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, paid a visit today, Monday, to the mausoleum of the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kamel Ataturk, in the capital, Ankara, as part of his state visit to Turkey that started yesterday, Sunday at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Upon his arrival at the mausoleum, the President of the Republic and the ministerial delegation accompanying him were received by Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay, who accompanied him throughout this visit.

The President of the Republic laid a wreath at the mausoleum of the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kamel Ataturk.

After taking a memorial photo with the delegation accompanying him at the main entrance to the mausoleum, the President of the Republic went to the museum devoted to the Turkish leader.

President Tebboune toured the museum, which contains the personal items and documents of the Turkish leader, and received a detailed presentation about its contents, before he signed the museum’s golden register.

The President of the Republic will be officially received by his Turkish counterpart at the Presidential Complex. He will also hold private talks, with President Erdogan, at the Presidential Complex, before extending them to include the delegations of the two countries. It is also expected that agreements and memoranda of understanding will be signed after the talks to enhance cooperation between Algeria and Turkey in several fields.

Yesterday, Sunday, the President of the Republic arrived in Ankara as part of a three-day state visit to Turkey at the invitation of the President of the sisterly Republic of Turkey.

He was received by Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay and senior officials in Turkey.

The President of the Republic is accompanied during his visit to Turkey by an important ministerial delegation made up of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, the Minister of Energy and Mines, the Minister of Industry, the Minister of Housing, Urban planning and the City, the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Issues, the Minister of Tourism, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Minister Delegate in charge of microenterprises and the Minister Delegate in charge of the Knowledge Economy and Startups.
