President of the Republic receives a solemn welcome in Ankara from his Turkish counterpart

President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Monday in Ankara a solemn warm welcome from his Turkish counterpart, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The solemn welcoming ceremony took place at the Turkish Presidential Complex in accordance with Turkish customs and traditions.

A 21-gun salute was fired in honor of President Tebboune who was greeted by Mr. Erdogan at the entrance to the Presidential Complex, where the two presidents listened to the national anthems of the two countries.

The two presidents reviewed a detachment of the Turkish Military Guard which saluted them.

Mr. Tebboune then greeted senior Turkish officials, accompanied by President Erdogan who, in turn, greeted the members of the Algerian delegation.

The Head of State will have face-to-face discussions with the Turkish President, at the Presidential Complex, which will be extended to delegations from the two countries.

President Tebboune arrived in Ankara on Sunday for a three-day state visit to Turkey at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The President of the Republic is accompanied, during his visit to Turkey, by a large ministerial delegation made up of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and of the National Community Abroad, of Energy and Mines, of Industry, of Housing, Town Planning and the City, National Solidarity, the Family and the Status of Women, Tourism, Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Minister Delegate in charge of Micro -companies and the Minister Delegate in charge of the knowledge economy and start-ups.
