President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune reaffirmed Saturday, in Addis Ababa, Algeria’s commitment to Africa’s legitimate right to become permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, stressing his commitment to working relentlessly to make the voice of the continent and its legitimate claims heard.

In a speech during the works of the ministerial meeting of the African Union Committee of Ten (C-10) on the reform of the UN Security Council held on the occasion of the 36th AU Heads of State and Government Summit, read on his behalf by Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane, President of the Republic welcomed “the spirit of cooperation continues and the fruitful coordination established between the representatives of the brotherly African countries in the international and regional forums to make the voice of the unified African position heard.”
