As part of its policy to control and reduce imports, the government has managed to purify the number of importers of goods destined for sale, from 43,000 to 13,000, Prime Minister Aïmene Benabderrahmane said Monday in Algiers.
More than 61 thousand interventions were carried out in the framework of combating illegal speculation and 45 special economic investigations related to sensitive commercial activities aimed specifically at combating illegal commercial practices were completed, according to the Prime Minister.
