The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune had, on Wednesday, a telephone conversation with his brother, the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, during which they exchanged greetings on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, said a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.
“The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, had a telephone conversation today with his brother the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, during which he congratulated him on the advent of the holy month of Ramadhan, and expressed his wishes for good health and for the brotherly Mauritanian people to make more progress,” reads the statement.
The Mauritanian president “expressed his gratitude to the President, wishing the Algerian people more progress and peace”, the same source concluded.
