The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ramtane Lamamra, inspected, today, Saturday, the process of the external recruitment competition to join the extension corps and the foreign affairs book at the level of the Algiers exam center at Houari Boumediene University in Bab Ezzouar.
This recruitment process comes – according to a statement issued by the same ministry – “in implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at strengthening the diplomatic apparatus, especially since it is the largest of its kind in the history of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in terms of number of candidates, which exceeded 25,500 candidates.”
On the occasion, Minister Lamamra instructed “strict respect for the law in order to ensure the transparency and integrity of the competition,” stressing the need to “take all necessary measures to ensure the participation of all candidates who meet the legal requirements, in order to establish the principle of equal opportunities, especially by opening the door for candidacy for the children of the Algerian community abroad, as well as providing the necessary facilities for the people of southern Algeria who will be examined at the level of the Ouargla Center, in addition to four other regional centers in Constantine, Oran, Blida and Algiers.
The Minister took this opportunity to express his “many thanks” to the employees of the sectors of the interior, higher education, scientific research and security services for their “effective contribution to the success of this process, which has a national dimension, as well as the positive role of the media sector.”
Mr. Lamamra also focused on “the quality standard expected through this competition based on strict rules, where, after passing the written exams, the accepted candidates will undergo an oral exam.”A
